Postpartum planning

Planning for a realistic postpartum is something I feel really passionate about. Bringing a newborn home is such a truly magical and wonderful time but can also feel overwhelming and daunting. These are a couple of useful tools to begin planning for your postpartum. This is by no means everything but may be some good starting points. Often starting the conversation can be the hardest part. Trust yourself and what feels right for you and as always, be kind to yourself.

While we often spend a lot of time in pregnancy discussing the ins-and-outs of what the baby needs (from car seats to nursery decor), it’s important to prepare yourself for postpartum, through deep conversations with your partner so that you’re prepared with solutions when tough times arise.
